
Covering 3.5 acres and situated near the Katy Mills Mall, “Dig World” will give visitors the chance to operate a variety of equipment including Caterpillar mini-excavators, skid steers and utility vehicles.
Jacob Robinson, the park’s founder, said in a press release: “We wanted to build something that kids and families could enjoy, creating the best and most unique consumer experience in Texas.”
Lisa Connolly, Katy Mills marketing director, added: “Dig World will surely enhance the family-friendly offerings of Katy Mills, providing a fun place for families to spend time together during their visit to the centre.”
Robinson has teamed up with the construction department at Texas’ A&M University to show Texans what goes on behind site hoardings. He plans to build 10 more locations throughout the US.
According to the website a 2 hour Dig World pass is $24.99 Hours of Operation: Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-6pm.
