Beaumont Police are investigating the homicide of a man found dead in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Irma.

Investigators say they responded to a report at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday of shots fired outside of a home at 1085 Irma Street.

Police found Ashton Devon Randolph, 26, of Beaumont, on the driveway, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers used lifesaving efforts to try to help Randolph, but when EMS arrived, he was dead at the scene. Detectives are in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
