
SAN ANTONIO – Officials are investigating and incident involving two toddlers that were found tied up inside a Southeast Side home on Sunday.
Police responded to the 400 Block of Bailey and Piedmont Avenue around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9.
According to a spokesperson for Child Protective Services, law enforcement and CPI are investigating the shocking incident and believe the children lived in that home. A five month old baby is also believed to live in the same home but was later found with a different family member at a different household.
The two toddlers were taken to the hospital to be examined and all three children are under CPS care.
As police investigated the incident, neighbors witnessed hearing loud shots just a few houses down Bailey Avenue.
According to San Antonio Police, a victim was driving down the road when a 23-year-old man fired shots at the vehicle and fled the scene. The victim was also taken to the hospital and treated for wounds.
This is an open case and investigation is on-going.
