BEAUMONT — DEVELOPING: Beaumont Police obtain Murder warrants in connection with the December 28 killing of Dexter Anderson, found shot to death in a car at CITGO in west Beaumont. He and another man were shot in the 2100 block of Willowglen and drove to CITGO at Major and Washington.

On Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 9:20 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to 2050 South Major (CITGO) on a victim of a shooting call. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Willowglen. The two victims were inside a vehicle at the time of the shooting then drove to the CITGO. Dexter Anderson, 25, of Beaumont, died at the scene. The other victim was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
