From the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office:

“This afternoon Chambers County Sheriff’s Office deputies and State Troopers were involved in a high-speed pursuit that terminated at the Chambers/Jefferson County line due to multiple gunshots being exchanged between the suspect and Sheriff’s deputies. All deputies and troopers are safe and unharmed, and the suspect has been transported to Riceland Hospital in Winnie with non-life-threatening injuries.”
