Man shot on city’s South Side, walks to nearby fire station for help

SAN ANTONIO — A man was taken to the hospital after he was shot during an argument at a South Side gas station Tuesday night, San Antonio police say.

The shooting happened around 7 p.m. outside a gas station at the intersection of South Flores and East Southcross.

According to police, an argument took place outside the gas station when shots were fired.

The victim, only described at this time to be a 31-year-old man, then walked to a nearby fire station where officers found him with a gunshot wound.

No suspect has been named at this time, police say. The investigation is ongoing.
