BEAUMONT — DEVELOPING: The MLK Parade that was scheduled for January 15 in Beaumont has been canceled due to the rise in COVID cases.

It was also canceled last year due to COVID concerns.

“The health and welfare of our citizens is very important to the NAACP,” said organizers in a statement.
