
SAN ANTONIO — The search is on for any suspects tied to a Southwest Side shooting where a 19-year-old was found shot dead inside a vehicle, San Antonio police say.
The incident happened around 12:45 a.m. early Sunday morning at the 200 block of Briggs Avenue.
Police received a call about shots being heard in the area and then another call for a shooting in progress. When officers arrived at the scene, they say they found a male with gunshot wounds inside a parked car. Police say the vehicle also had several bullet holes.
EMS arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
The victim is by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as Avery Jacob Flores.
Police say they have no information on any suspects in this case. Detectives at the scene questioned some possible witnesses.
No other injuries were reported.
