SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating a Tuesday morning shooting where a teen was shot twice, San Antonio police say.
The shooting happened at the 9100 block of Harbor View Street on the city’s Southwest Side.
Police say they got a call around 8:16 a.m. for shots fired and were told a child had been hit. Officers found the 16-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to the upper leg.
The victim is not being cooperative with the investigation, police say, and they’re trying to find out more information from nearby witnesses.
Police say the suspect was driving an older model Chrysler 300 with what appeared to be a replaced bumper.
The victim was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police add.
The investigation is ongoing.
