
JASPER COUNTY — Jasper County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Mike Smith has released the names of the victims of a Monday, November 15 accident which left four young people dead. The crash occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Farm to Market Road 252, about a mile north of the intersection of FM 1005.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said the car involved was traveling at a high rate of speed around a curve when it went off the highway, crashed head-on into a tree and caught on fire.
Autopsies and DNA testing was performed in the Golden Triangle, and Judge Smith identified the victims as Kristen Crosson , Alayna Young, Amarian Levette, and Dezirae Barlow, all of whom were 19 years old..
