The Lone Star Ballet is less than a week away from the opening night of The Nutcracker. Several items needed to help make the show come to life arrived at the civic center recently, including the costumes.
Costume check-in began earlier today at 5:00 p.m. and cast members came to get their outfits and try them on making sure there aren’t issues.
The Costume Director for the Lone Star Ballet, Elaine Seaton says they began prep-work on the costumes once the cast was finalized and brought it all to the civic center early this morning.
Seaton said that her favorite part of the ballet every year is getting to see the kids light up and perform.
“It’s I think just watching the kids and just having a good time and enjoy doing it. yes, it is the 50-year anniversary, just seeing you all put it together and seeing the kids go on stage and have a good time,” said Seaton.
this year the nutcracker will have shows starting December 10 through the 12. tickets are available at panhandletickets.com.
