SAN ANTONIO — A man is dead after police say he was shot during an argument at a Northwest Side car wash Saturday night.
The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. at the car wash located at 3425 Wurzbach Road, near Ingram Park Mall.
Officers were dispatched to the location for a shooting in progress. When they arrived, they found the victim — a 33-year-old man — unresponsive behind the carwash, with a gunshot wound to the hip that was bleeding heavily.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead minutes later.
Officers found the suspect — 18-year-old Caesar Martinez — at a gas station across the street.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Police say a family member of the suspect was also taken into custody for questioning.
Police believe an altercation between the three took place at the gas station just before the shooting.
Martinez was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Jail for Murder.
