PORT NECHES — Today marks two years since the explosions and fire November 27, 2019 at the TPC plant in Port Neches.

The explosions and fire injured several people and caused an estimated hundreds of millions of dollars in damage to homes, businesses, and other buildings and property.

The county judge issued a mandatory evacuation for a period of time impacting thousands of people within a radius of several miles of the plant.

The explosions and fire, and resulting damage and injuries, led to several lawsuits.
