Temple police release photo of man possibly connected to multiple reports of ‘suspicious activity’

According to police, the person may be connected to an attempt to pull a woman into a truck.

TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Police Department released a photo Thursday of a person they said may be “involved in suspicious activity reports.”

According to police, the man in the photo was going door-to-door to homes on Wednesday afternoon in the area of Pullman Place Blvd. and Ames Dr.

Earlier in the day, police were called to the area of Stonehaven Dr., which intersects with both of the other roads, where they said a woman reported that a man had grabbed her hand and neck before trying to pull her into a white truck.

The woman told police she got away. She said the man followed her but eventually stopped and left. She said the man was wearing a white shirt and black shorts.

Police do not know if the man going door-to-door and the man who tried to pull the woman into the truck are the same person.

If anyone has any information, please call TPD at 254-298-5500 or the Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477, where callers can report anonymously.
