PORT NECHES-GROVES/HOUSTON — A Port Neches-Groves junior varsity football player has achieved a milestone in his recovery from a traumatic brain injury.
15-year-old Noah Jackson suffered in the injury in a helmet-to-helmet hit during the PN-G junior varsity games Thursday, October 14.
He was flown to Texas Children’s Hospital and underwent surgery.
Noah’s mom has stayed with her son and supported him.
Noah’s family tells KFDM that doctors have moved him to a rehab room and he started rehabilitation today.
Relatives say he’s improving, talking , alert and responding to questions.
His mom and family express gratitude to the entire community for all of the prayers and support.
