Residents in Hamshire-Fannett ISD to vote in $1.4M bond election for new concession stand

On Monday, residents living in the Hamshire-Fannett school district can start early voting in a $1.4 million bond election.

The district is seeking the funding to build a concession stand to replace the current facility which is quickly falling apart.

Right now, the concession stand is too dangerous to use, and that jeopardizes funding for Hamshire-Fannett ISD sports.

The Athletic Booster Club averages $85,000 a year in concession sales.

That’s why the Hamshire-Fannett ISD superintendent says the bond to build a new concession complex is an investment in students.
