Orange Police are still working on the details but the end result of two brothers fighting is one gunshot wound and one head wound.
The two Hispanic brothers, ages 26 and 28, were at the older brothers home in the 2200 block of Norwood St. when the fight began. During the struggle a gun was produced and the younger brother was shot in the leg. The older brother suffered a head wound from some type of a stick.
The younger brother drove to the Orange Apartments on Ridgemont where first responders were called. He was taken to a Beaumont hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Captain Robert Enmon said because of the lack of cooperation, they’re not sure whether the victim was shot or the gun accidentally discharged. He said they believed the fight was over a female but couldn’t confirm.
