Tropical Storm Nicholas has formed in the SW Gulf of Mexico

Southeast Texas — Tropical Update: Tropical Storm Nicholas has formed in the Southwest Gulf of Mexico this morning. The official forecast path from NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center has it tracking west of Southeast Texas. As expected, it is still expected to bring us plenty of rainfall. At the moment, a TROPICAL STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT from High Island westward. Flash Flood Watches are in effect for the entire Southeast Texas Coast. This is an evolving system and details will be updated frequently through the next 36 hours. Stay with Your Weather Authority and you’ll be ahead of the storm. http://www.kfdm.com/weather
