An 18-year-old man from Orange has been arrested for attempted aggravated robbery in connection with an incident at a Family Dollar store Monday morning.  A man with a gun tried to rob the store at 1301 16th Street, but left without getting anything.

Orange Police Detective Captain Robert Enmon said once again citizens helped identify a suspect after seeing a store surveillance video posted on KOGT.com.

Daylan Charles Stewart is currently in the Orange County Jail facing the felony charge.

Two men stole early Thursday morning stole a pickup truck along with a trailer holding lawn mowers and lawn maintenance equipment. The theft was reported at the Studio 6 Hotel, 2502 Highway 62 South.

The truck is a maroon/red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.  Orange detectives have surveillance recordings showing the two men taking the pickup from the hotel parking lot about 2:30 a.m. Anyone with information about the truck and equipment should contact OPD detectives at 409-883-1095.
