VERNON PARISH, LOUISIANA — A man is jailed in Vernon Parish, Louisiana after an extensive undercover investigation ended with the arrest of a Lufkin man and the seizure of several pounds of cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana, along with four handguns–three of which were reported stolen–as well as ammunition, according to Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft.
Craft say 32-year-old Damecio A. Hollis of Lufkin is jailed in connection with Friday’s drug raid.
Craft told our media partner, KJAS, that search and arrest warrants were executed at a well-known drug hot spot in Leesville, known locally as “The Hole”, and Craft said the drug operation was conducted from a ‘trap house,’ which he explained is a house that is used specifically for the purpose of distributing illegal narcotics.
According to Craft, his department along with Leesville Police conducted the operation and he noted that more arrests are expected in this case.
