WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Last Friday, 12 new Waco police officers completed a long six-month police academy by passing their state licensing exam.

Monday, they were all sworn in as new Waco police officers.

Waco PD released the following statement:

“They still have a lot of learning to do, but they are eager to serve and honor the oath that they took today! Welcome to the family you all, we are proud of you and I personally look forward to working and serving along side you.”
