Governor Greg Abbott announced the creation of a COVID-19 Rapid Testing Program for Texas youth summer camps.

This program will help summer camps that are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to conduct rapid tests of staff and campers during the summer months.

The program is for all summer camp operators licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services or DSHS, The governor suggests you make sure if you send your children to summer camp, make sure it’s one licensed by the state.
